A new frontier for the CROSSWAY: operating inside the Arctic Circle in Norway for Connect Bus Norge AS

Connect Bus Norge AS has taken delivery of its first 13 CROSSWAY Low Entry last October, while two more units will be delivered in April 2024. The CROSSWAYS will operate in Alta, the fourteenth northernmost city in the world (latitude 69 degrees 58 minutes north), 400 km inside the Arctic Circle – a new frontier for the CROSSWAY range!

As part of the Norwegian Finnmark 2023 tender, IVECO BUS has delivered 13 CROSSWAY to the operator Connect Bus Norge AS, which has confirmed an additional order for 2 more units to be delivered in 2024. The CROSSWAY units will be running in Alta, one of the northernmost cities in the world. The best-selling passenger transport partner in Europe, the CROSSWAY is conquering a new frontier in Norway.

Around 1,000 CROSSWAY units are already operating on Norwegian roads, demonstrating that this intercity best-seller is perfectly adapted to Nordic climate conditions.

The 13-metre CROSSWAY Low Entry chosen by Connect Bus Norge AS are equipped with a 320 hp, HVO compliant engine. They can accommodate up to 47 seated passengers and 26 standing, in addition to the driver. They will provide regular traffic missions and school services.

The delivery of the vehicles was supported by the local dealer Team Verksted, which offers a wide range of services and support in the northern territory of Alta.
